Seth Carter

Seth began his journey in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in late 2018 while living in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He received his blue belt in February 2020 and completed Gracie University's Instructor Certification Program in July of the same year, and most recently, received his purple belt in October 2023. 

Seth has been teaching the art of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in both group and private settings, and his students over the years have included people of all ages who have come from a variety of backgrounds; from CEOs, to teachers, to first responders and members of the military, to tradesmen, IT professionals, and more.

When asked what his favorite part of his journey has been, Seth replied, "I love seeing the change that occurs in people who become empowered through the practice of jiu-jitsu. Most people who train here have little, if any, experience in martial arts, and it is an amazing privilege to witness this empowerment in others."
